The Florida Panthers call Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida home. The arena, which opened in 1998, has undergone multiple name changes over the years, having been known as the National Car Rental Center, Office Depot Center, BankAtlantic Center, BBT Center, and FLA Live Arena.
Amerant Bank Arena is the largest indoor arena in Florida, with a capacity of 19,250. It is located just west of Fort Lauderdale and just north of Miami.
The Panthers have been a part of the Sunrise community since the 1998-99 season. They have made the playoffs 12 times in their history, including a run to the Stanley Cup Final in 1996.
